Resumption of International Mail Dispatches to Canada |
December 18, 2024
The designated postal operator of Canada has informed us that the strike by their postal staff ended on December 17, local time in Canada.
Consequently, international mail dispatches from Japan to Canada were resumed today.
According to the report of Canada's designated postal operator, they will handle mail items that accumulated during the strike with priority, though considerable delays in mail delivery will continue for the time being and may last until the end of January 2025.
Thank you for your kind understanding and cooperation with this situation.
