Registered mail discount
Discount of ordinary registered mail (excluding currency registration)
The registered mail postage per item is discounted when fulfilling the following conditions.
Single discount 300
| Condition |
- Sending 300 or more items that are handled as the same category simultaneously from a single sender
- Postage payment through methods such as payment of postage other than by affixing postage stamps (only those paid in cash), post-payment of postage, or payment of postage by the use of a franking machine
- Showing the inquiry code number on postal items using bar codes
- Sender preparing the registered item receipt
- Using no optional services other than express mail or reply-requested mail

| Condition |
- Sending 1,000 or more items that are handled as either the standard size postal item, nonstandard size postal item, standard postcard or reply-paid postcard simultaneously at a post office designated separately by Japan Post Co., Ltd. from a single sender
- Postage payment through methods such as payment of postage other than by affixing postage stamps (only those paid in cash), post-payment of postage, or payment of postage by the use of a franking machine
- Showing the inquiry code number on postal items using bar codes
- Sender preparing the registered item receipt (when the inquiry code numbers are not serial numbers, we may ask for the submission of data)
- Being handled as the same category
- Using no optional services other than express mail or reply-requested mail
- Having the same shape and weight (we may ask for the submission of the breakdown when the shape and weight differ)
